A majority of my metal is 100% recycled, where possible. I usually use a mix of sterling silver, gold filled metal and occasionally brass and copper.

What is gold filled metal?

Gold filled items are perfect if you’re looking for a material that is higher quality than gold plated, but an affordable alternative to solid gold. Unlike gold plated, gold filled can last a lifetime if taken care of properly, and isn’t affected by water or hot weather. It is also tarnish-free under normal conditions.

How are items made?

All of my items are handmade by myself in my home studio, which means items will be unique and one of a kind.

How do I care for my jewellery?

To prevent your sterling silver from tarnishing, keep it away from harsh chemicals, keep it dry, store it correctly, and clean and polish when needed. Take it off when washing your hands or swimming, and keep it in a secure bag or box when you’re not wearing it. You also want to take it off when exercising.

1. Wipe with a polishing cloth: the easiest way to clean your silver!

2. Keep it away from chemicals: the best way to clean your silver is to prevent it from needing cleaning! Remove your silver jewellery when using harsh cleaning solutions, and keep it away from lotions and perfumes.

3. Take it off when at the beach or pool:  chlorine and saltwater are very damaging to silver jewellery, so it’s best to take off your pieces when swimming.

4. Store your silver jewellery in a cloth pouch in an airtight plastic bag, away from sunlight.

5. Another great way to clean your silver jewellery is to soak it in warm water with a drop of dish soap, then rinse and dry with a clean cloth.

How do I know my finger size?

The most accurate way to get your finger size is to use a ring sizer . Alternatively visit your local jeweller for a measurement.

My items are listed in popular ring sizes. If you don’t see your ring size listed, please contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
